Christopher L. Ainsworth is managing director and senior portfolio consultant at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. In this role, he is responsible for advancing the U.S. Trust investments value proposition within the Central South and West Divisions. This includes partnering with our high net worth clients, advisors and portfolio managers in delivering on our broad investment platform and services across Bank of America. He represents the top of the house thinking in the macroeconomic, thematic and portfolio strategy levels.

Previously, he was a market investment executive leading portfolio managers for the Greater Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County and Arizona markets in determining the appropriate strategy, formulating and implementing our investment management and navigating through changing market environments to provide traditional guidance in the areas of asset allocation, retirement, and multi-generational strategies.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Chris has worked in various capacities of the investment industry and specifically focused much of his time working with family offices and multi-family offices regarding investments. Chris was also with Banc of America Capital Management's Alternative Investment Group. 

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics with Financial Applications from Southern Methodist University. Chris served as past President of the California Hedge Fund Association (CHFA) from 2010 through 2012 and is the current Chairman of the CHFA.  Additionally, Chris serves on the Advisory Board for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Foundation.
